Google To Buy Over Twitter?

I have just read that Google is looking into buying over Twitter.

This little follow-me social networking site has risen over the past few months and the potential of it growing BIGGER is huge… and i mean REAL HUGE!

The social networking site allow you to follow one another and be followed.

When people follow you, whatever you blog at Twitter, your followers will get to read it if they are logon to the site.  In the future, this information could be sent to your followers’ mobile phone as SMS.

Now, you may ask “Why on earth do you want people to follow you and hear what you are doing, at any one time?  Isn’t that crazy?”

Well, yes or no.

You see… if you are refering to some of your private matter, you can don’t blog at twitter. That way, your followers will not know.  However, what if you come from the standpoint of a marketer?  For example, if you are launching a red-hot product in the coming month.  Doesn’t it mean sense to get your followers or potential buyers excited with every marketing campaign that you are launching?

Other than that, i see this collection of followers at Twitter as a way to do free advertisement, just like sending out an email to your list.  No wonder most internet marketers are jumping into the twitter bangwagon and Google is looking to buy it.  If i have the financial strength like Google, i will also buy it as i see tremendous value in this social network site.

In recent time, i have come across an innovative complimentary tool for Twitter, the Viral Tweet Twitter.  This amazing software allow you to entice other marketers who has a hugh followers at Twitter to promote for you. Their followers will see your prewritten Twitter message.  In return for their good will, you will give them a free gift of sort.

Not only that, you get to have this marketers to follow you at Twitter as well.  On their Twitter home page, your photo will appear at the right hand site under the ‘following’ section.  When their followers saw who they are following, they may opt to follow you as well.  Can you now see why i am so excited by this social network site?  It is simple but pretty viral in nature.

Well, if you want to own a copy of the Viral Tweet Twitter software, you can now download it for FREE at http://www.embraceinternetwealth.com/endorses/viraltweets.

Twitter, Twitter little Star, How I Wonder What You Are?  Like A Diamond In The Sky…  instead i see Twitter as a little diamond in the internet marketing niche.

Copywriting Secrets - Part 2

In our last Copywriting Secrets series, you learn how to construct a powerful headline that suck your readers to read your sales letter.

Understand this, without a powerful and captivating headline at the beginning of your sales letter, no one will continue to read your sales letter. Don’t talk about sales if they don’t read your sales letter.  That’s why, learning how to construct a captivating headline is VERY VERY important.

Okay, now that you have your reader attention. What’s the ultimum in your sales letter body that will spur and accelarate the buying process from him?

Just think about it…

Is it hypnotic words?

Yes, but hypnotic words are not the ultimum tactic that get your reader to buy from you.

What about manufacturing buying emotion?

Yes, this is part of the buying utlimum but it is not the entirety.

So what is the ONE thing that is so kiss-ass that your reader will take out their credit card to buy from you?

Here is the answer.

You need to craft an IRRESISTIBLE OFFER that give your reader an INSTANT GRATIFICATION to whatever problems or wants in their life.

How do you create an irresistible offer?

To understand how to create an irresistible offer, you need to know what are the components that an irresistible must possess.

Here are the components of an irresistible Offer.

  1. It Must be something that your reader want, not need.  What he want is more important to him that what he need. The offer must have 10 times or more in perceived value (in your reader’s opinion) than what they are paying for.
  2. The offer is easy to consume or at least seem easy to be consummated.  People are generally lazy and they do not want to do a lot of work on a product that they purchase.
  3. The offer solve a major emotional problem and your reader is constantly looking for a solution to that problem but there are little or no perceived solution out there in the market place.
  4. Your offer can bring your customer instant result and they will live happily ever after (just like Cinderella story)

That’s is it.  If your offer can satisfy the above four pointers, then you have an irresistible offer.

Before i go, i would like to highline to you that the emotion problem that i mentioned in point 3 is different from a problem.

Let me illustrate the different with an example.  Let’s say you have a problem as you do not know how to repair a bicycle.

This is just a problem.  However, the problem translate to your emotion when you are repairing a bicycle for Rick Hoyt.

Watch the video below to find out who is Rick Hoyt and what has it do with your emotion when you are repairing a bicycle for him.

Use this strategies that i have mentioned here in writing your sales letter and you are guaranteed to increase your sales conversion.

In the next series of Copywriting Secrets, i will reveal another awesome tactic that most copywriter will not tell you.

Copywriting Secrets - Part 1

In the next few weeks, i will share with you some of my copywriting experience and reveal some tricks or two.  I do hope it will be a good read to you and do put down your comments or suggestion if any.

One of the most important aspect of a sales copy is the headline.  If you do not have a captivating headline that capture your readers attention and imagination, your sales copy will not be read.  When this happen, you will lost alot of potential sales!

How then can we contruct a powerful and captivating headline?

First and foremost, you need to enter into the mind of your prospect.  What are they thinking right now when they read your sales copy?

Before you do that, you must know who is your intended readers.  Are they school girls, or working professionals or even house wives?

Let me illustrate this with an example.  Let’s say your ads is targeting working professionals.

The next question is “what is occupying their mind most of the time?”

As we are experiencing a major global recession right now, most working professionals are worried about safeguarding their job.

They have a problem and their problem is they are insecure and worry about their financial future.

Bingo!  Since you know that this is their problem, you can now write your headline addressing their problem.

You can have a headline that scream: “Recession Proof Your Monthly Expenses With Our Crisis Insurance”

The subheadline can be some thing like this: “We Pay Your Expenses Every Month If You Failed To Secure Your Job In This Difficult Time, Guaranteed! Now You Can Trash Your Worries Aside And Smile At The Recession.”

What do you think?  Do you agree with me?

I can further improve my headline when i write in specificity.  Here’s the improved version of the headline.

“Recession Proof Your Monthly Expenses For Working Mother Above Age 40 With Our Crisis Insurance”

With this headline, any working mother above the age 40 will surely put more attention to your sales copy when they lay their eyes on the headline.

You can also able to channel your advertising focus more vividly as you are now talking to working woman who are 40 years and above.

In the next section of Copywriting Secrets series, i will talk about another important aspect of copywriting.  So continue to watch this blog….

Patric Chan’s Instant Sales Secret Systems

I have been busy working on google placement advertisement recently.

Google placement advertisement is different from Google keywords based advertisement in that you pay per 1000 impression for the former ads while you pay for every click for the keywords based ads.

I first come to know of Google placement ads or we call it CPM in short when Armand Morin launched his ‘Internet Marketing Explained’ package way back in early 2008.

Armand seen to be very excited with this advertising method from Google Adwords.  However, i did not buy the package and have since drop it off from my mind until Patric Chan introduce his latest product ‘Instant Sales Secret Systems’.

I brought it and am intrigued by Google Placement Ads ever seen.  Inside the ‘Instant Sales Secret Systems’, Patric will show you how to do a proper research for a profitable niche affiliate product to promote.

However…

That’s only the beginning as we all know TRAFFIC ( i mean targeted traffic) are the key to our success in promoting any affiliate product.  With his little amazing software which you will receive when you make a purchase of ‘Instant Sales Secret System’, you will be able to quickly collect a resorvoir of websites of your target market who also have Google adsense advertisements on them.

How’s cool is that?

With CPM, you can get 1000 exposures for less than $2 and if your advertisement is written well, then you can have a click through rate of just less than 7 cents.  Isn’t this amazing?

Just do the maths.  If your adv can convert at 3%, then you will have 30 clicks for 1000 advertisement impression on your targeted Google advertiser websites.  So when you divide $2 with 30, you will get $0.067.

Isn’t this amazing?  Can you achieve this with Google Adwords keywords targeted advertisement?

Unthinkable, isn’t it?  Now i know why Armand Morin is so excited about CPM advertising on Google Adwords.

Everything you need to know on how to advertise on Google Adwords placement ads are revealed in ‘Instant Sales Secret Systems’.

If you have not gottn hold of it, i highly receommend you to do so at:

Disney Goes Viral

Yes, Disney did it again. Remember yahoo mail? They give away free email service and the whole world is promoting it like crazy. All of the sudden, yahoo mail become the BEST advertisement electronic platform on planet earth.

To do that, you need to build into your advertisement a viral element.  Like the case of Yahoo mail, you use it to sent email to your friends and your friends will use it to sent email to you and their friends.

The multiplication effect keep compounding.

Disney is doing this as well.  Check out how this little advertisement from Disney will soon spread to everyone in the whole world at the fastest ever speed.  This is viral marketing.

Check it out at: http://www.sun7news.com/spread.php

It’s call ‘Disney Parks / Pass It On!

What it does is that it allow you to customize a Disney video with your friend name on it.  It is as if the whole movie is done just for your friend.

When i first received such an email from my friend, i am pleased.

Check out the Disney video just for me, Yew Heng Chiong. :-)

Left me a comment here and let me know what you think of it, ok?

Vincent James A Scammer?

I have just finished reading the condensed version of his 12 months Millionaire, ‘How I Made $77 Million in 2 Years’.

And i have made a purchase of his printed book ‘12 Months Millionaire’, ‘The audio recording of his closed door seminar for only 109 qualify people’ and his ‘Billion Dollars Ad Collection’.

Prior to that, i have done a google search for Vincent James and have realized that many marketers are leveraging on his name to sell products and services.  I have also read from a blog site of a guy call Thomas Gates who criticize Vincent James and call him a scammer.  You can read it at www.12-month-millionaire-scam.blogspot.com.

What is my opinion on this?

Hmmm….. after reading his book, i realize that Vince is really a true blue direct response marketer.  And i can sense that he is outright honest and straight to the point type of person.

Yes, he could have make some mistakes in the course of making his millions like charging his clients account even after they terminate the orders.

Come on, give this man a benefit of doubt.

Could it be that there are some mess up at the fulfilling house or his billing system that cause this problem?  Looking at the massive size of his business transaction and the numbers of buying customers every month, it is impossible to make any mistake.

However, i am not in the position to judge whether he is right or wrong.   Vincent could have done it purposely and it could just be some mistake of his system that he is not even aware of.

I have know of people who are not directed to the download page of a product that they have purchase online because the online payment system malfunction.  Mistake does happen, sometime…

Anyway, i know that i can learn a lot of  real life direct response marketing tricks and gimmicks from him.

How do i know?

I am a direct response marketer myself and what i read in Vincent James book resonates with me.

And mind you, i can see that he is no ordinary direct response marketer.  He has done a lot of testing and tweaking of his ads to make it work and his marketing experience is undeniable valuable.

I respect him for his marketing prowess.  As for his character and business ethics, i am in no position to comment as i do not really know him and have i ever seen him in action.

One of the amazing thing i learn from Vincent is that he use the introduction of his book as the content for the sales letter of his book!

Whow! Talk about leverage, this guy really know that.

And he has the uncanny ability to write sales letter that get you suck in and want to buy his stuff.  Here is one of an extract from his sales letter or his introduction (whichever one you read…)

‘Seriously - I envy you.  I wish I could experience again what you’re about to learn… but of course i can’t.  So i have to settle for the joy of watching the light bulbs go off in the thousands of people’s minds who read this book’

In this one simple sentence, it has already triggers many psychological emotion in his readers.

1) The ned to feel advantaged.  You will feel that you are in a unique position to take advantage of his many years of direct response marketing experience, such that you can rip him off of his years of hard work.  You feel priviledged.

2) The fear of losing out.  You want to be part of the thousand who read the book and so that you will not lose out on tapping to his marketing genius in a single read.

3)  The need to feel important.  Vincent James envies you for reading the sales letter as you are about to short cut your success in your business and make the millions of dollars that you have always dream of.

Ha…. i have learned more from him in just one single read of his   ‘How I Made $77 Million in 2 Years’.

If you ask me if he is a guy worth learning from in term of marketing, i would have give you a resounding yes.

However, if you was to ask me if he is a guy worth learing from in term of character and integrity, i can only tell you that i am in no position to comment.

If you are like me who desire to ‘up’ your knowledge on direct response marketing, i suggest you go and listen to a recorded audio of a 6 hours coaching session that Vincent James have conducted for one of his student at  http://www.embraceinternetwealth.com/endorses/vincentJames.

Squeeze every marketing juice out of this man, will ya?  I will!

Mike Morgan Amazing Copywriting trick

I have a chat with Mike Morgan today at the SMART seminar in Singapore.

We talked about his stay in Singapore and the delicious food here.  Mike has fall in love with Singapore.  He as tried durian and pepper crab and is loving it.  Mike even told me that he may be back in Singapore mid next year, together with his family.

Well.. in the conversation, Mike has revealed to me one of his secret to crafting out high converting sales letter.

Do you know what is it?

It is about creating an offer that your readers cannot refuse not to buy from you.

Here is his definition of an offer.

‘An offer is the sum total of everythign you are presenting to your prospect.

Indeed, Mike shared with me that he work on the offer first before anything when writing his copy.  As you probably already know, most copywriters work on the headline first, not Mike.

His copywriting philosophy is also supported by the late Gary Halbert.  Here is what he has said before “Strong copy will not overcome a weak offer… but ….. in many cases, a strong offer will succeed in spite of weak copy written by marketing morons!’ — Gary Halbert

Got it?  The success or failure of your sales copy lie in the offer.

Top 100 Brands By Ranking In 2008

Branding and positioning is EVERYTHING in business.

In internet marketing, the brand is the marketer himself, especially if you are selling information online.

Ask yourself this question.  Why do people want to buy from you?  What good is your information and most importantly, what this information can do for their life - Make them more money? Make them money on autopilot?  Help them to save taxes? (by the way, if you are living in Singapore, here is a good site to learn how you can save some taxes.  Click on http://www.embraceinternetwealth.com/endorses/savetaxinsingapore)  Improve their health?  Help them to communicate and win over the opposite sexes? …  the list goes on and  on…

Most importantly, who are you that people can trust the information that you are selling them.  Credibility is the number one essential component you can put in place when selling information online.

How to build up your credibility?  Give away your best information for FREE! Yes, give it out for FREE.

Some people will ask me how then can we make money selling information online if we give away our best information for free.  The answer is simple.  Information can be expanded based our experiences and knowledge.  We can expand on the information that we are giving for free and create a home study course out of it.

Alternatively, you can give away the ‘What’ information for free and keep the ‘How’ information to sell.  Do this mean sense?

You see… by giving out your best information, you create a ‘top of the mind’ awareness among your market place and you implanted a mind share into their already confused and sophisticated mind.

Ask yourself this question, when you think of marketing rebel, who do you think of?  John Carlton of course.  When you think of the prince of print, who do you think of? The late Gary Halbert of course.

They have given enough of their best free information on the internet such that everyone in the internet marekting community is aware of them and see them as a specialist in their field.  In other word, their names are ‘BRANDED’ in their respective field.

Oh yeah.. another thing, you need to create a content launch campaign to set your FREE information on viral, spread out on the internet like a virus, penetrating into the heart of everyone in your marketplace.

You can also create product that you can sell for some profits to achieve this same effect as well.  However, for starter, it is best to own a pie in the mind of your marketplace by giving out your best content for free.

As you can see, branding and positioning yourself is so important in selling information online.  Miss this step and you are doom for failure online forever.  Miss this step and you will find yourself hardly able to make a dime on the internet while you see other gurus making ton and ton of money in the shortest time possible online.

So what is the different between the gurus and yourself?  They’re branded but you are not.

Today as i read the Business Week, i came across this information that i think would be of interest to you.  It is a report of the world top 100 brand according to BusinessWeek on the 18th September 2008.  Big mutli-national brands their company name, but direct response marketer brand their name because they know that in general, people like to do business with an individual that they know and trust.

Click here to see the list of top 100 brands by ranking in 2008 at Business Week.

Can they do something similiar for internet marketers?

Frank Kern’s Mass Control In Its Originality

Anyone who has been long enough in the internet marketing industry will know Frank Kern and his ‘Mass Control’ product.

I am exposed to Frank when i make a purchase of the traffic secret 2.0 by John Reese.  As part of the purchase, Frank Kern (being a good buddy of John) offers to give us two uncensored DVD’s from his earlier seminar where the blueprint of Mass Control is originally birthed.

I have watched the DVD where Frank is presenting at one of Jeff Walker Seminar.  In that every presentation, Frank is sharing his original thought of Mass Control….

His original idea on Mass Control can be summarized into this formula:

 MB + P + LSESC = $

According to Frank, WB stand for Magic Bullet.  P stand for Proof.  LSESC stand for Low Self Esteem Succes Chance.

Essentially,  Frank is saying that in any successful marketing campaign, you need to have the magic bullet (a product/service that your market really want and they will NOT hesitate to throw themselves at you if you present to them what they really want.

Secondly, you need to have the ‘Proof’ to show your market that what you offer them WORK!

Finally, your marketing campaign must have an element of LSESC or low self esteem success chance.  Frank understant that people are generally suffering from low self esteem and image even if they do appear confidence and strong in front of their peers.  When left alone, the story will be dramatically different.

To lift up their low self esteem, your marketing message need to telegraph to them that you are just like them.  The only difference between you and them is that you have accidently acquired the product that you are selling to them now.  You are no smarter than them.  However, the product has work GREAT wonder in you and have advanced your dream and trun it into a reality.

As such, it is possible for your market to just buy your product and they will achieve the same result as you or maybe just a little bit of your result will satisfy them.

You are lifting up the hero in you and your product while suppressing the ‘Me’ in your marketing message.

I fully agree with Frank Kern here.  People will not buy from you if they think your solution to them is too complex and that they will not be able to use it for their advantage.  You need to instill confidence in them to buy and consume your product with empathy….

Isn’t this the strength of direct response marketing?  We are doing this sort of marketing on the internet while the BIG corporations out there are projecting the ME, ME, ME messages to the market.

They use institutional marketing, telling their market how good they are…. how long have they been established… blah..blah.. blah…. dumping all their advertising dollars to the drain.

Remember, people DO NOT care about you until they know you care.  It’s all about your market, NOT you.

Do left your comments here and share your thought here….  I will personally read every comments and let us share our marketing brilliance and together, we move toward our dream of creating an million dollars internet business.

To our success!

Matt Bacak Marketing Gimmick?

Matt Bacak hands in the $30,124.74 to Habitat.

If you look at it from charity angle,  it seen like a fantastic act.

However if you look at it from marketing angle, Matt has mananged to pull in 30,124 subscribers to his database.  Thus, he has another 30,124 person he can bombard with his marketing messages in the future.

Additionally, he is creating F-R-E-E advertising as reporters and media will be reporting on his charitable act.  This help him to raise the ‘Matt Bacak’ awareness around the world for Free!

Well, i am not too sure if what he is doing is intentional or it is really act out of a good heart.  Either way, he wins BIG time from this campaign.

If it is acted intentional, then this is call the ‘Greatest Marketing Gimmick’.  However, if it is acted unintentional, then this is call the ‘Greatest Charitable Heart’.  Only Matt himself know the answer to this question.

Having attended Matt’s seminars a few times, my gut feel is that this man is real and act out of a good heart.  He has the ‘Greatest Charitable Heart’ indeed!

Here’s a video of Matt Back handing the cheque to the Habitat:
