At the seminar, they will hire camera man to record the session into DVD and sell it for $500.  Do you not think that it is a real bargain to watch the entire $5,000 seminar and steal the exact same secrets that are revealed at the seminar for only $500, at the comfort of your home?

Oh yeah… i have another sneaky tactic to revealed to you.  At the end of the seminar, allow the attendees to advertise themselves and their website by recording them in sharing how much they have benefit from the seminar.   You win, they win.

With this recorded testimonies at hand, you can now proceed to write a sales letter with ready to go testimonies. :-)

Alvin Phang, a fellow singaporean has managed to get his blog site rank number one in Google organic search result.

 Not a easy stunt but he make it! 

As per the time of this writing, the magic words ”Make Money Online” return 182,000,000 research results and Alvin Phang’s Gather Success blog make it to the number one spot on the first page.  Whow!

 On the right, there are a number of PAID advertisement.  I would have think that this advertisers could have spent about $1 or more for each click in order to get their advertisement on the first page on a “Make Money Online” Google serch.  And Alvin Phang got it FREE!

Well, his strategy is very simple.  All he does is that he get other bloggers to backlink to his GatherSuccess blog from their blog webpage with the anchor words “Make Money Online”.  As more backlinks are established to his blog with keyword “Make Money Online”, eventually, Google serch Robot will place a very high relevancy score to Alvin’s Gather Success blog with the words “Make Money Online”.

At this point, you will probably be thinking “who on earth will do a backlink to GatherSuccess for Free?”.  Well, Alvin is promoting a reciprocating backlink system, where he will put a backlink from his blog to your blog if you place an backlink with the words “Make Money Online” to his blog.

Well, being a Singaporean, i will support my fellow Singaporean Internet Marketing by placing a “Make Money Online” backlink to Alvin Phang’s Gather Success blog.

In this series of Internet Marketing stretegies, i will share with you some of the most powerful strategies used in Internet Marketing.

This sneaky little strategy tells your prospects that if they purchase your product, they can also promote your product.

You could give your customers a higher commission rate than your free affiliates, just like you would your top personal JV partners. You could even tell them how many JV partners you have and the reputable names that are involved.

Best of all, you can give your customers 100% commission when they promote your product.

Urghhh…am i going insane?

No, absolutely NOT!

Think about it this way…

Your customers have already purchase your front end product.  They have a network of contacts that you have no access. Why not make them your JV partners and give them an incentive so good that they cannot pass it, but MUST promote your product to their contacts?

Here is the key…

You allow them to promote your product only from your website via a special JV partner links that is only associated with them. 

This way, you have the luxury of capturing their contacts name and email address.  Not only that, you can backend them with another similiar product and make all the money for yourself only.

Implanting An Opinion In Your Prospect Mind


I would like to share with you a sneaky little trick to implant an opinion that you want to have your prospect adopt.

So sneaky is this trick that your prospect will not realize that he/she is adopting your opinion.

How?

Well… let use an example to illustrate the trick.

Let say you want to your prospect to form an opinion that the economy is bad and his/her job is at stake.  There are no job security now.

How will you do that?  Just take a moment of your time to think about it…

Well….

You got the answer?

 This is what i would do.  I would compliment the prospect!

Yes, i would tell him/her this ‘Whow.. you still have a job in the current turbulence time?  You must be doing great at your job.’

By doing so, you are encouraging him to ’small talk’ to himself that the economy is indeed bad and he may be having a job now but it may have gone tomorrow.

By getting your prospect to form his own opinion, he has made a conclusion for himself and form a personal opinion that he will hold so dearly that even when you try to proof him wrong later on, it will prove fatile.

This is another pyschology trigger coin as cognitive dissonance.

How To Capture The Mindshare Of Your Market?


I have not been writing for this past few weeks.  My apology to you, my dear readers.

The reason is because i have been very busy trading and ripping the reward from the down market.

This is my investing psychology.  When everyone is fearful, i am greedy.  When everyone is greedy, i am fearful.  It’s kinda of a contrarian approach and this is the exact approach that i market online.

Controversial content capture attention, whether you like it or not.  It’s spice up your marketing story. 

In marketing, we know that you can NEVER NEVER be boring or you will lost your market share instantly.

In order to capture the mindshare of your marketplace, you need to deliver controversy but intuitive contents.

This will keep your market place interested in your products and services, ready to prowl and buy from you.

Controversy material is also viral in nature and everyone will be talking about you and in no time, you will be the ‘talking subject’ in your market place.  All of the sudden, people can see the value that you can give them and source you out like a guru.

With a guru status, you have the top of the mind awareness in your market and selling will become redundant once you have gain the trust and belief from them. (Your market will be hungry for more of you)

So here is the simple formula:   Controversy and intuitive Free content =  Viral words of mouth marketing + Top of the mind awareness in your marketplace + $$$ at your disposal at the push of a button.

Be a contrarian, if not, at least in your marketing.

I have received an email from Jo Han Mok on the 8/8/2008 with an uniquely oriental oriented flavour.

Inside the email, he invited me to play a jackpot game online to win $888, credited NOT to my bank account but to a new product that he is promoting.

 The product is JD Hamilton’s Instant Money Switch.

In the webpge, JD Hamilton promised to teach you how to make REAL money online as easy as flipping a switch.

A few days later, Jo Han sent out another email with the subject line “My heart really *stop*….”

Why?

Well, in this email, Jo Han revealed to us that JD’s webmaster erroneously included the actual download link to an exclusive Resales License offer on the very webpage itself, so people could have download for free!

Whow! Amazing.

 There could be two possiblilities here. 

One.  What he said in the second email is honest and genuine truth.

Two.  He is setting up a ‘marketing trap’ for other to download the product and put it up for sales before releasing this email to apologise for the mistake and warn anyone who have not *officially* buy the product not to put it up for sales or they could possibly received a lawyer letter from JD Hamilton.

Since those who has downloaded the Instant Money Switch illegally could have put up the product for sales at this point, most ( if not all) will generally make the purchase of the Resales Right of the ‘Instant Money Switch’ as they do not want to *waste* their effort of putting it up in the first place.

Hmm…. if possiblility two is the intention, then this is one of the most brilliant marketing gimmick i have ever seen on the Internet.  It plays on the pschology of man that “Poeple do not like to tear down thing when they have put in sufficient effort to set them up”

So could be it possibility one or two?

Nobody will know.  We can only guess.  Only Jo Han Mok will know….

But, having know Jo Han, i honestly believe that this is a genuine mistake.  Nonetheless, out of this mistake, i have discovered a sneaky little marketing trick that could increase our sales…..

So why is Jo Han selling you a resales licence to this *hot* selling product?  He even give you his sales letter in the package.  Why don’t he promotes the product himeself and make 100% of the profit instead of selling the resales rights?

Today, i have received an email from Alex Mandossian on a headline quiz.

He has conducted a tele-clinic and has done a A/B split test on the following two headlines.

For me, i will choose headline A to be the winner.  This headline start with the hypnotic word ‘Free’.  This magical word generally capture more head-up.

The next word that capture my attention as i scan through headline is the word ‘Easiest’.  Headline B used the word “Easier’.  My gut feel is that ‘Easiest’ tastes more appealing to me than ‘Easier’.  Moreover, ‘Easiest’ appears in the middle of headline A while ‘Easier’ appears at the end of headline B.

Overall, i am more compel to find out more if i hit headline A than headline B.

What is your choice of headline? A or b?

Let’s take a look at Alex’s split test result…

Yes.. he is using headline A.  Apparently, headline A is the winner.

However, this is not the end of the Alex Mandossian story…

What i have found out is that he is using this simple headline quiz test to get people excited (just like me) and participate in the quiz.  You will not know the winning headline unless you click on the link which lead you to a webpage where Alex will invite you to join his tele-clinic session.

Ha… Alex is really a fox in the forest, granted that he can use a headline quiz to sneakily get anyone ( myself included) to click on the link.

 Moreover, the subject of the email read “This is a killer Case Study…”.  Will you suspect that Alex is selling you to attend his tele-clinic?  No, right?  You will probably think that he is giving you some solid content in the email…. but surprise, surprise.. it is NOT!
