Jay Abraham is a master consultant to grow business.  He is known as the Godfather of direct response marketing.

This way, you can sell more products and services to them in their lifetime or Jay coined it as the life time value of the customer.  Essentially, it means the value of each customer to your business in their lifetime, if you can keep them as a faithful buyers of your products/services.

The strategy grows beyond the life time value of your customers.  It will generates a multiplier effect of free advertising for you when they refer their friends and families to your business.  Their friends and families in turn introduce their friends and families to your business… and your business will grow exponentially with zero advertising cost.

Isn’t this powerful? You bet.  In offline business, it is called words of mouth advertising.  In internet marketing, it is called viral marketing.

Matt Bacak Marketing Gimmick?

If you look at it from charity angle,  it seen like a fantastic act.

However if you look at it from marketing angle, Matt has mananged to pull in 30,124 subscribers to his database.  Thus, he has another 30,124 person he can bombard with his marketing messages in the future.

Well, i am not too sure if what he is doing is intentional or it is really act out of a good heart.  Either way, he wins BIG time from this campaign.

If it is acted intentional, then this is call the ‘Greatest Marketing Gimmick’.  However, if it is acted unintentional, then this is call the ‘Greatest Charitable Heart’.  Only Matt himself know the answer to this question.

Having attended Matt’s seminars a few times, my gut feel is that this man is real and act out of a good heart.  He has the ‘Greatest Charitable Heart’ indeed!

The powerful promoter has done it again! 

He is offering $1 for his $5,500 seminars.  What is the reason? 

Matt Bacak deploys his ‘reason why’ marketing again.  He claims that one of his students has ripped him off by using his $5,500 seminar material to teach other without even changing the name.  Is that true?  Well, if this statement came form an internet marketer, i have my doubt.

From Matt Bacak point of view, he has nothing to loose but everything to gain.  Why?  He is paying $1 for every lead.  For every $1 that you pay, he will put in another $1 to make a donation.  So for each $1 purchase, he is donating $2.  That’s why he is losing $1 for each lead.  Is this a lost? So.. with a bit of reverse engineering, you can simply get a glimpse of the ‘gist’ of what is inside the copywriting course.

However, if you are lazy and want everything to be lay out before your very eyes, then you can pay $10,000 for your laziness.

The implication here can be quite subtle and it is up to YOU to imagine… whether you want to buy the product at a high price or you do a little bit of homework to find out the OBVIOUS.

Reason Why Most Internet Marketers Fail Online

Most internet marketers experience the learning phase where they will attend seminar after seminars and end up overwhelm, information overloaded when they are starting out.

After  going through this phase, they will probably experience the ‘information flavouring’ phase.  What is this?

Well, basically, after going through all those marketing seminars, they will realized that most information are repetitive, package in different flavour.

The stock market is going down like crazy in the last past few months.  Everyone is anticipating a recession in the United State.

I watched CNBC yesterday, and experience the worrisome atmosphere at the trading floor.  Many analysts are trying to predict if the stock market is indeed moving into a recession or not.  Some of the analysts predict based on their experience and some predict based on the statistic data.

As internet marketers, what is the lesson we can possibly learn from the way these financial analysts make their prediction?

Here’s the lesson:  We need to test our advertisements, sales letter and the business. Then only we can make definitive conclusion and prediction so that we can make the neccessary tweak and change.  After that, we test again.  Then we make changes based on the test result.  The testing cycle goes round and round again until we have an optimized advertisement, sales letter and business system.

Do not work your business based on your experience or the experience of other gurus.  The idea and tactics that you have learned from the gurus may look comprehension and should give you surefire result.  However, it should goes under the fire so that you can test it for youreself and if the result is not desirable, then you should change it and test again.

Testing is the key to our success in internet marketing, just as testing is neccessary for accurate prediction of stock market.
