In my last two posts on ‘How To Increase The Responsiveness of you List’ series,  i mentioned that finding your targeted readers and building relationship with them are the key to increase the responsiveness of your list.

Today, i will share with you a sneaky little secret to increase the responsiveness of your list many folds.

Ready for it?

This is a big one….

If you can describe their problem better than themselves, they will see you as a expert and confide in you.

You see, if they see you as the expert who can solve their deepest problem, they will stick to you like leeches.  You are kind of like creating a cult movement.

Internet is like the big ocean and the fishes in the ocean are your prospects, readers and customers.  They are spread all over the world, with different beliefs, culture, habits etc etc.

You are hungry right?  You want to go fishing right?

You rent a boat and go fishing with a fishing rod, where would you start?  It’s a big ocean out there and the fishes are shatter EVERYWHERE.  Maybe if you are lucky, you caught one or two fishes. 

What if you cast a net instead? Maybe you will caught more fishes this time?  Changing your fishing rod to a net is like changing your tools to conduct your marketing business.

How can you get the fishes come raving to you in masses to beg you to catch them?

Not possible?  What if i tell you that the best fishing spots are near a man made structure?

Any guesses?

It’s beneath the oil rig that you can find huge numbers of fishes.

Another lesson to learn here.  People do just buy your product or service, they buy because of you.  They buy both your product or service and YOU.

How To Increase The Responsiveness Of Your List Part 2


In my previous post, we know that we can increase the responsiveness of your list by recruiting targeted prospects to your list.

Now that you have a list of prospects that are interested in your product or service, you need to build up a strong relationship with them.

How can you build a strong relationship with your list?

Well.. first of, you can listen to them.  The best form of communication is where your prospects know that you listen to them and most importantly, care for them.

You can do so by doing a short survey or using web 2.0 to collaborate with them.  Get them involved and read their feedbacks and comments. 

After which, you can integrate their requests in your product and service.  In this way, they know that you listen and really care for them.   This is what i mean by relationship building.

Most of the time people don’t buy from you because they do not trust you or your product or service.  By listening to them and react to their need, this will increase their trust level.

Another complimentary way to building relationship with your list is to write to them like a buddy.  Write to your list as if you are just writing to one person, your buddy.  They will appreciate you better and can possibly converted to be your life time customers.

Most importantly, treat your prospects and customers well and always think in their shoes.  If you are consistent in building a fantastic relationship with your list, they will reward you in the long run. :-)

How To Increase The Responsiveness Of Your List Part 1


Every internet marketers know that the money is in the list.

However, this statement is only half true. The money is in a ‘RESPONSIVE‘ list.

I have seen internet marketer who has a much smaller list that outperform others who has a much bigger list base when promoting the same product as affiliate.

Here are the pre-requisites of a responsive list:

1)  They have the money to buy from you.2)  They have a strong emotional motivator to buy your stuff.3)  They are proactively looking for a solution to the problem that you can sell them. 4)  There are few or no perceived option (in THIER opinion) to the solution that you are selling them.If all this four criterias are met, then you have a highly responsive list that are ready and eager to give you their money in exchange for the solution that you give them. They are hungry and thirsty buying customers.

One way to increase your list responsiveness is that you need to know where to advertise to capture your lead.

What if i tell you that yahoo search is popular with a bunch of kids with no money to buy from you while Goggle search is used by opportunity seekers who have all the money in the world to buy from you?

How will this affect how you will spent your advertising dollars in PPC campaigning?

Of course, you will want to bet your money to advertise on Google instead of Yahoo PPC right?

The lesson that you learn here is that you need to know where your target responsive lists hang out and advertise at the right media or use the right advertising mean to get capture their eyeballs and entice them to join your mailing list.

List Building With A Twist Part 3


Today, i will share with you another sneaky way to collect massive amount of responsive list in your marketing online.

The key to this tactic is to promote a give-away free gifts campaign.  Take opportunity of some event to give reason for your campaign.  For example, as the economy is in a slump and the recent bailout bill saga, you can promote a ‘Save Americans’ give-away free gifts campaign.

 You can give away some of your information products or even information products that you have purchased with giveaway rights.

To add spices to your campaign, you can muscled together a group of Joint Venture partners to participate in the campaign by giving away their information products.  To incentivise them to join you and promote your give-away campaign, you can ‘one time offer’ an irresistable offer to all the visitors that they sent to your website to download your free gifts by giving them a cut of the commision when their visitors take up the one time offer.

For yourself, you can create an customer optin form to capture these one time offer customers before they go on to download their paid product.

If the give-away campaign is conducted well and they are a buzz created in your market place, then i am not surprise that you will be able to collect a HUGH list of paid customers, your very own responsive list.

In my earlier post, i share with you the importance of building a responsive list.  A responsive list is primary a database of customer’s information relating to your market.

How to collect a customer list fast?

If you are already selling some info-product, give it away the front end for FREE!  Liase with your competitors and Joint Venture partners, to give away your info-product for FREE to their customers.  All they need to do is to place your Freebie advertisement on their thank you page or download page.

As you probably already know, only paid customers have access to the download page and thus, in a way, you are giving away your ‘high value’ front end info-product to the customers of your competitors or JV partners… for FREE!

Do you think your competitors and JV partners will mind if you add value to their customers? To entice them further, share with them your profits to the backend info-product when their customers buy from you at the one time offer. 

They have nothing to lose but everything to GAIN…. especially in a gloomy economy, like what we are experiencing now.

The trick here is that before the customers download your FREE front end info-product, you capture their name and email address (or even mobile number if you want).   Mike Filsaime’s butterfly marketing script is well suited for this example.  Give reasons why you need their contact information before they can download your info-product, eg. it is needed to activate their membership to your FREE membership site.

With this tactic (Mark Joyner coined this as Integrated marketing and Mike Filsaime coined it as Traffic Fusion), you can start collecting a list of responsive customers of your niche market from your competitors and Joint Venture partners.

Internet marketers are taught that the money is in the list.

Well, this is only half the truth. 

You probably asking ‘Are You Sure???’

Yes, i am very sure.

The money is in a RESPONSIVE list.

Let put it this way.  A list contain a compilation of names and email addresses.  These are all ‘passive’ commodities.

What is important and make listing building so lucrative is the ‘live’ person behind the list.  Yes, the real  person reading your email behind the computer.

Who are they?  Are they ready buyer of your products or are they just have no interest in any of your products. 

What if they are already customers of yours or your competitor serving the same market?

Understand this, people who have already brought something in your niche marketplace will more likely to buy MORE of similar or related product from the same marketplace.

For example, if someone has gone online to buy a golf membership, he is more likely to buy some golf equipments or even buy some ebook on how to make the right swing and stuff that are related to golfing.

What if you can capture this person name and email address or even mobile number?  You have in your database a responsive customer who is willing to spend more on golfing.

That’s why internet marketers in the known will go all out to capture such person in their list.

List Building – The Fast Lane


I have been observing how other marketers or gurus out there are doing with their list building effort.  To study and understand their sneaky strategy, i subscribed to their database and observed on the things that they have done right to entice me to give away my name and email.

What are their strategies to generate such a massive amount of prospects/customers list in the shortest time possible?

After spending a substantial amount of time studying it, i believed i have the answer and i would like to share it with you, my precious readers of my blog.

Every internet marketers and gurus out there are telling you that the money is in the list.  Is that really true? 

 Partially.  The money is in a responsive list.  Yes… The money is in a list of peoples who know you and appreciate the value that you have given to them and want to DO business with you.

Now, the thing is… how do you capture your responsive list?

Here is your solution. 

Write a journal on your life experiences that you think will benefits your target market very much and give it away for FREE!  Yes… for FREE, but in exchange for their name and email address.

The trick here is that you want give out a lot of value in your free gift to your prospects and to get them to read it!

How?  Well, since you have captured their name and email address, you can sent out a personal email to them to trigger their curiosity gland to get them to read and appreciate the free contents that you have given them.

In the free contents, you can also tell a story on how you have use the exact same information to better your life, be it sexually, financially, health wise or whatever you are targeting.

By telling a story, you are promoting yourself and at the same time, spice up your value to your prospects by delivering an interesting content.

As they consume your free content and there are so much value in it, they will come to you as an expert.  Most importantly, they are now conditioned to do business with you.  That’s where you have your very own responsive list!

Got it?

Once you got your responsive, it is up to your imagination how you want to do business with you.  In no time, you will see the floodgate of wealth pouring into your life like a waterfall….. Now you have turn the table around. 

You do chase after money but money chase after you. How’s nice! :-)
