Ted Nicholas’s Billion Dollar Marketing Secret

Today, i continue my reading of Ted Nicholas’s Billion Dollar Marketing book.

What’s better to learn marketing than from the billion dollar marketing man, Ted Nicholas himself.

As i flip through chapter 35, it reinforces the belief that most internet marketers have.

What is that?

He start of the chapter by asking this one important question.  What is your most valuable business asset?

 If you are internet marketer or businessman, take some time to think about it…

As reveal by Ted, teh number one asset in any business is YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Well… this is what we are taught as Internet Marketer. 

We do anything to capture the name of our customers or prospects.  Then we do our utmost best to get our customer to buy for stuffs from us.  As Jay Abraham put it: “Increase the life time spending of your customer”.

Indeed, it is eaiser to get your happy and satisfy customers to buy more things from you than to influence a stranger or prospect to make a purchase from you.

Isn’t this thing common sense?  Well.. unfortunately, simple as it sounds, most internet marketers and businessman still do not understant it.

They spent a lot of money doing advertisement to get people attention to buy their product/services.  After the purchase, they failed to retain the customer information and lost the customer forever.  Then the cycle repeat itself again and they dish out more advertising dollars to attact people to their product/services. Don’t you think that they are working harder and harder but losing more and more?

Another mistake that i notice that most internet marketer and business owner made is that they do not provide high value product/service to their customer.  After the first purchase, the customers will not want to come back again.  No… it is a costly mistake all internet marketers and businessman should NOT make.  It’s a sin.  You must give your customer MORE than they expect so that each time they make a purchase from you, they experience the ‘whow’ effect. 

 Sometime, simple things are more effective than complex things.  So..in all your marketing campaign, try to keep things simple.

On of the secret that caught my attention from Ted Nicholas is Chapter 8 of his new “Billion Dollars Marketing Secrets” book.

Chinese New Year Promotional Tactic…

Chinese New Year is around the corner. The key highlight of the Chinese New Year celebration is on the eve of the New Year where the families will get together for reunion dinner.

Talking about food, one of the Chinese delicacy is the abalone. During this time, the price of abalone will rise 20% to 30% due to demand

Interestingly, today as i am shopping in a local supermarket, i observed an important marketing tactic that they use to sell abalone, just like what we have practice in internet marketing all this while.

After i finished with my shopping, i pushed the trolley of goods to the cashier counter to make payment. At that moment, i noticed two cans of abalone at the counter.

While the cashier is entering the pricing of the items from the trolley one by one, he
