Jay Abraham On Asset Marketing

This is a lesson that i have learned from marketing guru Jay Abraham which i would like to share with you and i do think it will shed some light for you in conducting your business (online or offline) for better profit.  Jay Abraham has show me a different way of looking at thing to increase the business profit other than spending money on advertising.  He coined the strategy as ‘Asset Marketing’.

Here’s the thing.  How’s often have we work on the wrong part of our business? 

It’s no wonder we find ourselves and our staffs working harder and harder with hardly any significance result.

Let’s face it! Whether in business or online business, dollars and cents matter the most.  The only reason for our binsiness to exist is that we want to make profits, period.

 What do most businessman do when they want to expand on their business?  Yes, they simply spent more money advertising, hopefully, the effort will result in more customers.  Let’s NOT fonder with HOPE marketing.  Let’s focus on precision marketing.

What we want is ‘laser focus’ marketing strategies that give us the maximum result with minimal effort and money spent.

How can we do that?  Just do an overhaul of your business internal.  Do you get it?  Yes, just do an overhaul of your business internal.

Can you increase the conversion rate of your sales force?  Maybe you can script out some selling proposition that your sales person can use when they meet with their customers. Or if you doing an online business, then maybe you can learn how to write better sales copy.

Alternatively, can you get your existing customers to buy more products and services from you?  If you do not have alternate product and service to offer, then can you do a joint venture with others to offer their products/services to your customer with a commission?

Further, can you optimize your operation processes to cut down on operational cost?

As you see, there are so many things we can do to generate more profits by doing an overhaul of our existing business, other than spending on advertising to attract more prospects.

Yes, advertising  has it place in your business. However, if your business internal system is not optimized to churn out maximum profit from your advertising spending and effort, then you are indeed missing a point.  You will find yourself and your staffs working harder and spending more but with little result.  Look at the inside!
