Jo Han Mok And Matt Bacak Public Challenge Secret Revealed

Quote of the Day: If you do not believe in co-operation, look what happens to a wagon that loses a wheel.

Most businesses failed because business man ‘hide’ behind their product and company.  To be successful, especially in Internet Marketing Business, the business man get to rise above his business and product.

 Why is it so?

People buy your product because of who you are, especially when you are selling information on the internet.  First, they must know you (that’s where the list and relationship building with your list is so important).  Secondly, they must love and trust you enough to make a purchase from you.

In a recent ‘opportunity selling’ by Jo Han & Matt Bacak, they issued a public challenge that they CAN generate money on demand with just a laptop and an internet connection only.

They put up an advertisement in a local news paper in Singapore.  Here’s the headline of the ads. “Go Ahead… Trap Us In A Crowded Room With Nothing Else But Our Laptops And An Internet Connection, And We’ll Put The Money Where Our Mouth Is By Generating An Obscene Amount Of Money In Front Of Your Very Eye”

Do this headline sounds a bit of hype up?  I think so…. An obscene amount of money?  What is the measurement? How much money is considered an obsene amount?

Here is a picture of the advertisement:

Nonetheless, this public challenge get the public excited.  To be brutally honest with you, this is a demonstration of top marketing strategy – get your prospects excited.  Just like what the WWE has given to the world in term of wrestling entertainment, they have given the Singaporean crowd something to talk about… and be excited at the same time.  For WWE, their fight on stage may be fake, but they have generate enough excitement and controversy to have the fans roaring for more and pay them again and agian. Simply amazing, isn’t it?

So what do this tell me?  It’s tell me that man is generally bored and they are constantly looking for some sort of entertainment and fun to fill their life.

Before the public challenge, Jo Han has written a sales letter to sell a teleseminar session on “Money on demand” system.  On the day of the challenge, they simply invite one of the audience among the crowd to go on stage to sent a email (which they have also prepared before hand) to their list.  The email has create enough curiously in their list for them to click on the hyperlink on it to read the sales letter that Jo Han has prepared.

In no time, you can see their bank account go ‘ka-ching’ ka-ching’ ‘ka-ching’  Here’s they have fulfilled their public challenge and many people enrolled to their thousand dollars coaching session during a weekend.

That’s is not the end of the story.  Jo Han & Matt get a camera man to record the 2 days coaching session and sell it as a backend product to their list during the “Money On demand” teleseminar at a later time. Talking about leverage… this is indeed a great example for us to learn from.

To summarize on what they have done here:

1) They have sell a teleseminar coaching session to their list at the day of the public challenge.  Many in their list brought the program even before the teleseminar started. (this is the best part any business man dream of.. customers pay first before they deliver the goods. No credit debt to clear…)

2)  As a result of 1), many spectators at the ‘live’ public challenge brought their thousand dollars ‘live’ 2 days coaching session. (again the same ‘pay first, deliver later’ principle applied)

3) During the 2 days of the ‘live’ coaching session, they videotaped the entire session with the help of a camera-man.

4)  On the day of the “Money On Deman” teleseminar session with their list, they upsell them with the DVD recording taken during the 2 days ‘live’coaching session in 3.

What do you think?  They are ingenious marketers, aren’t they?

I left you here with some food for thought… Put down your comments and share with us your view!

The microsoft certification is important for engineers and also the famous and popular cisco training. The famous certification by the Microsoft is the mcp training, it is for the programmers and developers. The itil certification is easy to understand as well and few engineers prefer it as well. The mcsd is also for the Microsoft certificated software developers. So it is renowned all over the world. The CISCO offers another training ccnp.
