Try this little experiment.
No matter what you do, don’t think about a yellow elephant.
You probably will think of a yellow elephant.
Why?
This is a commonly use technique by master copywriter.
It’s known as negation.
You see, our subsconscious mind cannot be told what ‘not to’ or the ‘don’t’.
It is a servo-mechanism, which mean that the subsconscious mind can only DO what the conscious mind tells it to do.
That means anything you tell the subsconscious mind NOT to do, will not be processed at all!
The power of ‘negation’ can be multiplied when used in conjuction with an embedded command.
So for instace, if I use a phrase like “I don’t know if you want to become a Master wordsmith”
Can you spot where the ‘negation’ and where the ‘embedded command’?
